The Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa dedicated a new housing development last week.
The 24-home complex is the first tribal-state project in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority provided $4.1 million in affordable housing tax credits and financing to the tribe's housing authority.
The first four units were dedicated last Thursday. All units are set to be completed and occupied by the end of the year.
Four more tribal-state housing projects are being developed.
