Soboba water settlement cleared for White House
A bill to settle the water rights of the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians is ready for President Bush's signature.

H.R.4841, the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians Settlement Act of 2007, ends a 75-year-old lawsuit over water rights in southern California. It authorizes $29 million for the tribe and up to 2 billion gallons of water a year.
