Funding has been restored to the United Tribes Technical College in North Dakota, Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota) said.
The Bush administration eliminated $4.5 million for the tribal college in the fiscal year 2009 budget. Dorgan restored the money through the Interior appropriations act.
The House passed its version of the bill yesterday. The Senate is considering its version.
