Mille Lacs chief executive wins re-election
Melanie Benjamin won her bid for re-election as chief executive of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe in Minnesota.

Benjamin, 52, defeated former chief executive Marge Anderson on Tuesday. Anderson ran the tribe from 1991 to 2000, when she was unseated by Benjamin.

This will be Benjamin's third four-term term as chief executive.
