LaDuke to appear on The Colbert Report
Environmental activist Winona LaDuke will appear on the popular cable television show The Colbert Report this evening.
LaDuke, a member of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe in Minnesota, is executive director of Honor the Earth She was vice presidential candidate for Ralph Nader on the Green Party ticket in 1996 and 2000.
The Colbert Report airs on Comedy Central at 11:30 PM EST/10:30 CST. The broadcast will be available online after the show airs.
On Friday, LaDuke will speak at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C.. The museum is hosting a symposium, Call To Consciousness on Climate Change, from 12pm to 5pm in the Rasmuson Theater.
