Poarch Band re-elects chairman and treasurer
The Poarch Band of Creek Indians of Alabama reported a record turnout at an election on Saturday.

Three seats were up for grabs. Voters re-elected chairman Buford L. Rolin and treasurer Arthur Mothershed to the council.

Newcomer Garvis Sells was also elected. He takes over a seat that was held by Eddie Tullis, a former chairman of the tribe.
