Jodi Rave, the Native reporter for The Missoulian newspaper of Montana, has received an award from the Society of Professional Journalists.
Rave won first place in the "General Column" category for her columns on Native issues. Her columns appear in the Missoulian and in other Lee Enterprises newspapers. She was selected among other Pacific Northwest journalists.
Rave is a member of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation of North Dakota.
