
The Zia symbol of Zia Pueblo is featured prominently on New Mexico's state quarter. The symbol appears over a map of the state. Gov. Gov. Bill Richardson (D) and U.S. Mint Director Edmund Moy unveiled the design yesterday, which is the first state quarter to feature a Native symbol.
