Indian business in Kansas to process Seminole beef

An Indian-owned business in Wichita, Kansas, is playing a big role in a new inter-tribal economic venture.
McGreevy's Mid West Meat Co.
will process meat for the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The Seminoles, as part of a partnership with the Bureau of
Indian Affairs and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut to promote economic development, is marketing is own line of beef.
McGreevy is owned by a family of members of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe of South Dakota.
The processing plant employs about 40 people and will expand to meet its new deal.
