The Spokane Tribe and the Confederated Colville Tribes testified in support of their water agreement with the state of Washington on Tuesday.
The tribes and Gov. Chris Gregoire (D) agreed to water usage on Columbia River and Lake Roosevelt.
The Spokane Tribe would receive about $2.25 million a year, adjusted for inflation, and the Colvilles would get $3.8 million the first year and $3.6 million in subsequent years, adjusted for inflation.
The deals require approval by the state Legislature. The first vote in a House committee is expected today.
