Red Lake Nation receives $31M Shakopee loan
The Red Lake Nation has received a $31 million loan from the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community, a fellow Minnesota tribe.

The loan will enable the tribe to complete three projects: a casino, a justice complex and a greenhouse. Work already started on all three facilities and is due for completion in 2009.

The Red Lake Nation has previously benefited from the Shakopee Tribe's generosity.
