
Roxanne Not Afraid, a teacher at a public school on the Crow Reservation in Montana, has been named Teacher of the Year by the National Indian Education Association. "I'm so grateful," Not Afraid, a member of the Crow Tribe, told The Billings Gazette. "I'm no different than all the other teachers here." Not Afraid has been teaching for nine years.
