Members of Congress aren't happy with the Department of Justiceand its handling of corruption at the Interior Department.

Lawmakers want to know whether a sex crime allegation involving an Interior official and a subordinate was investigated. The official, Greg Smith, resigned after being targeted in a corruption probe and federal prosecutors declined to file charges against him.

Inspector General Earl E. Devaney was so upset with Justice's inaction that he pulled his investigators from the Jack Abramoff probe, according to news reports.

In a second case, lawmakers want to know why Justice did not intervene in another corruption scandal involving oil royalties.
