Police officers for the Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota walked off the job on Tuesday, The Rapid City Journal reports.
The officers are protesting their assignments and the continued employment of Joe Herman as chief of police and Milton Bianis as a police captain. They claim Herman lacks experience.
The officers met with tribal council members to air their grievances yesterday and reportedly confronted Herman. The FBI was called but it's not clear what may have happened.
