The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut made the first $200,000 donation to an economic development initiative in the city of Norwich. The tribe agreed to donate $2 million over five years to the Sachem Fund. The city will match the yearly $200,000 contribution. ‘We’re proud to have these funds to give. This is an opportunity for many organizations to come to the pool," said Mohegan Chairman Bruce “Two Dogs” Bozsum, The Norwich Bulletin reported.
