Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-New York) and Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) won their party's respective primaries in New Hampshire on Tuesday. Clinton won 39 percent of the vote, ahead of 36 percent for Sen. Barack Obama (R-Illinois). Obama won the Iowa primary just five days ago. McCain won 39 percent of the vote, ahead of 32 percent for former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. McCain had came in fourth in Iowa. Both Clinton and Obama skipped the Prez on the Rez Democratic presidential debate last August. Clinton turned down the invite, citing concerns over tribal sovereignty and labor unions. Obama did not commit. McCain is former chairman of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee and is well known for his support of tribal issues. But in recent years, he took stances on off-reservation gaming, regulation of tribal casinos and the Cobell trust fund case that drew complaints in Indian Country. Get the Story:
