Results of Seneca-Cayuga election in dispute
The leadership of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma remains in doubt despite a recent election.

Voters went to the polls on June 7 to chose a new chief, secretary/treasurer and other positions. But it's unclear whether the election will be recognized by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

The winners of the election say incumbent chief Paul Spicer is misusing his position. He reportedly resigned but has refused to step down, critics say.
