A Catholic school on the Fort Belknap Reservation in Montana will be rebuilt by August 2009, the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings said.
Hays' St. Paul Mission School was gutted by the June 15 fire. The classroom, offices and cafeteria were completely destroyed and the gymnasium saw extensive water and smoke damage.
Two 15-year-old boys from the Gros Ventre and the
Assiniboine Tribes have been charged in tribal court with arson.
About 80 to 90 students attend the school, which also burned down in the 1970s.
