The Cowlitz Tribe of Washington is mourning the loss of its chairman John Barnett, who died on Sunday at the age of 73.
The tribe is holding a public viewing on Friday and two memorials, on Saturday and Sunday, in honor of Barnett, who served as chairman for 26 years.
Barnett's graveside service will be limited to family and friends.
