An 18-year-old member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe of South Dakota was indicted on two counts of murder in connection with a fire that killed two of his siblings.
Akeem Rooks was previously charged with intentionally setting the May 2 fire. Keya Rooks, 4, and Marvin Rooks, 2, died at a home in the remote Cherry Creek community.
Rooks faces a third charge of aggravated sexual abuse of a child under 12 years old. The incident allegedly happened the same day as the fire and allegedly involved a third child.
