Three First Nations in Saskatchewan have received a $120,000 grant from Health Canada to plan a treatment center.
The center would be located on the Yellow Quill First Nation. Band leaders floated the idea after two young girls died on the reserve in January. The girls' father has been charged in connection with their deaths.
The Yellow Quill, Fishing Lake and Kinistin First Nations are expected to come up with a plan by next April.
