Umatilla Tribes open technology business

The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Reservation opened a new technology business aimed at diversifying the tribal economy.

Cayuse Technologies is a partnership with Accenture, a management consulting and technology services company. The company will employ about 450 people, who will develop software and run a customer service center.

Cayuse is the first business to operate in the tribe's Coyote Business Park.
