The Bois Forte Band of Chippewa in Minnesota censured one of its tribal council representatives for a second time.
District I Representative Mark Drift violated the code of ethics for misusing a tribal credit card, spending tribal money without authorization and passing off a bad check to the tribe. He has been ordered to repay the tribe and could be removed from the council.
Last October, Drift was censured for creating a hostile environment.
