“Older than America" is a new film that explores the Indian boarding school experience from a contemporary point of view. Georgina Lightning co-wrote, directed and starred in the movie. She drew on her father's time at a boarding school in Canada and those of other former students. Shooting took place on and around the Fond du Lac Reservation in MInnesota.
