Senate Indian Affairs hearing on foreign aid lessons

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee is holding a hearing this morning on S.2232, the Foreign Aid Lessons for Domestic Economic Assistance Act.

The bill was introduced by Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska). It would create the Native American Millennium Challenge Demonstration Project, which would help tribes, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians develop economic development programs based on international models.
