Senate resumes debate on Indian Health Care

The Senate has resumed debate on S.1200, the Indian Health Care Improvement Act.

The bill first came to the floor late last month. It was set aside to focus on other legislative priorities.

Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota), the chairman of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, is hoping to pass the bill this week. Debate is currently on CSPAN 2.
