Courtney Carroll, an Alaska Native from Fairbanks, was crowned Miss Alaska USA and will represent the state at the Miss USA Pageant.
Carroll, 25, is a student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. In 2001, she was named Miss World Eskimo-Indian Olympics and Miss Fairbanks Native Association.
The Miss USA Pageant takes place April 11, 2008, in Las Vegas.
