The ninth annual Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards are being held tonight in Toronto, Ontario.
Two country musicians have garnered the most nominations. Shane Yellowbird (pictured) of Alberta and Donny Parenteau of Saskatchewan each have five nominations, including the Album of the Year award.
In the Best International Album category, one of the nominees is Taos Pueblo musician Robert Mirabal, for "In The Blood."
