Native boy, 12, victim of attempted rape

A 12-year-old boy on the Blood Reserve in Alberta was the victim of an attempted rape, tribal police said.

The attack on late Tuesday night was prevented by three people passing by, police said. The boy ran home and told his mother.

The suspect is described as a Native man in his 20s.
