Ousted Pascua Yaqui chair back on council

Herminia Frias, who was ousted as the first woman chair of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe of Arizona, is back on the tribal council.

Frias was elected for one of two open seats on the council. She received the second highest number of votes out of 14 candidates.

The council voted in September to remove Frias, accusing her of ethical violations. She says she was targeted because she sought an audit of casino finances.
