Man charged for 1987 murder on Lummi Reservation

A 57-year-old Washington man was charged with a 20-year-old murder on the Lummi Reservation.

Henry Keeler Redlightning allegedly sexually assaulted and killed Rita P. Di Sangh around August 1987. Another man, who has since died, was allegedly involved.

Redlightning was arrested following a tip to the FBI. When confronted, Redlightning reportedly admitted to the crime.

Redlightning was previously convicted of rape and assault in 1990 and used anti-Asian slurs during the attack. Di Sangh is an Asian Indian surname.
