For the first time, the World Eskimo-Indian Olympics are taking place in Anchorage, Alaska.
The event has been held in Fairbanks for the last 45 years. But organizers have decided to try other cities, with Anchorage laying out the welcome mat.
The competition starts today with a toe kick, kneel jump, one hand reach and a race. The events run through Saturday.
