The Muckleshoot Tribe of Washington has hired a facility planning company to study the feasibility of building an arena for the Seattle Supersonics.
The tribe is looking at building the facility on 185 acres in Auburn. The tribe owns a racetrack there and is seeking to have the land placed in trust.
Tribal leaders met with Sonics owner Clay Bennett but no further discussions have been held.
The tribe has discussed the arena with the Seattle Sports Commission.
