The Tigua Tribe of Texas celebrated its annual feast day on Wednesday.
Every June 13, the tribe pays tribute to St. Anthony, its patron saint. Tribal members from across the country come home to celebrate their Pueblo and Catholic heritage.
"There's so much meaning in the ceremony," Anna Silvas told The El Paso Times. "It's what our ancestors used to do."
The feast includes mass, procession and dances. The tribe used to live in New Mexico before settling in El Paso after the Pueblo Revolt of 1680.
