Ex-professor accused of spreading hate online

Police in Regina, Saskatchewan, raided the home of a former university professor who is accused of spreading hate against Jewish, Black and First Nations people on the Internet.

Terry Tremaine, 58, is part of a white supremacist group. In postings on a site called the Stormfront, he targeted Native people and other ethnic and religious groups.

In response, Tremaine said he used to be married to a part-Native women and has three mixed-race children [Wikipedia]. But the Canadian Human Rights Commission earlier this year fined him $4,000 and ordered him to stop using phone lines to spread hate [Ruling].
