Woman in England finds Indian blood in DNA test

A woman in London, England, has found Indian blood in her family thanks to a DNA test.

Doreen Isherwood carries a DNA signature that is characteristic of Pima Indians in the U.S. She most likely had an Indian ancestor who was brought to the United Kingdom in the 1500s as a slave, translator or tribal representative.

Isherwood was surprised to find an Indian link but noted that she has always liked "Indian artefacts" and Indian culture.
