Tulalip Tribes revive traditional carving at art studio

Members of the Tulalip Tribes of Washington are reviving their traditional arts.

The tribe opened an art studio to teach a new generation of artists. Several master carvers are helping create totem poles that will grace the tribe's new $125 million hotel, scheduled to open in June 2008.

In addition to carving, elders are passing on basket weaving, paddle-making and songs and dances.
