About 40 people protested the arrest of Jerome Cross, an Indian teen who has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder for a fatal shooting in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Family and friends said Cross, 17, was innocent. They demanded the release of evidence that police officers said puts the teen on a bus where the shooting of 16-year-old Earl Freeman occurred.
Meanwhile, six juveniles and one adult were taken into custody for a fight near Arlington High School. Police said the fight was linked to the shooting.
