Research published in today's issue of Science documents a conclusive link between dinosaurs and chickens. For the first time, scientists were able to analyze protein in a dinosaur bone. Two teams found a link between the 68-million-year-old Tyrannosaurus rex found in Montana and modern-day chickens. The discovery has scientists excited about finding organic matter in other ancient specimens. Teams are headed to Montana, as well as Mongolia, this summer to look for more bones. Get the Story:
