Missing Navajo boy, 14, found safe in Phoenix

A 14-year-old Navajo boy who was missing for 10 days was found safe in Phoenix, Arizona.

Alexander "Alex" Darwin Joe was last seen at his home in Surprise on March 19. At first, he was considered a runway but police later said he was a missing person due to his long absence.

Efforts to find Joe stepped up in recent days, with the Navajo Nation getting involved. But his aunt found him in Phoenix, where he had been camping in a park for the past 10 days. He was returned to his home on Thursday.

Joe reportedly said he left home after an argument with a family member. He is apparently in good health.
