A 22-year-old woman in Billings, Montana, was sentenced to three years in prison for participating in the abuse of an 18-month-old boy.
Stephanie Plainbull pleaded no contest to aggravated assault by accountability. She admitted she abused the boy, who has been left permanently disabled.
Plainbull was given a 15-year prison term, with all but three years suspended.
