The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals is holding oral arguments on Tuesday in a sacred site case.
An en banc panel of the court will determine whether a ski resort can use reclaimed sewage in
the San Francisco Peaks of Arizona. The Navajo Nation, the Hopi Tribe and other tribes in the Southwest say the peaks will be desecrated.
The case will be heard at 3pm Pacific Time. The Navajo Nation has called for a National and International Day of Prayer to support the tribes. The Save the Peaks Coalition is holding a march and rally at the federal courthouse in Pasadena, California.
The 9th Circuit will release audio files of the oral arguments on Wednesday.
