Chickasaw Nation Gov. Bill Anoatubby is being inducted into East Central University's Hall of Governors.
Anoatubby graduated from ECU in 1972. His portrait and bronze bust will be unveiled at a ceremony on Friday and will be displayed permanently at the school. The mayor in Ada, where ECU is located, will declare Friday as Bill Anoatubby Day.
Anoatubby has led his tribe since 1987.
