A man who was acquitted for the murder and rape of an Alaska Native woman is a person of interest in another disappearance.
Joshua Wade was charged with killing Della Brown, 33, in 2000. But after a highly sensational trial, he was acquitted of all but one charge and was release from jail in December 2004.
Now police say he is connected to the disappearance of 52-year-old nurse Mindy Schloss. His DNA was found on the steering wheel of her car and he used her ATM card to withdraw money the weekend she went missing, police say.
Wade has been charged with bank fraud and identity theft in federal court. He remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous.
