Fisher River Cree Nation to perform drug tests

The Fisher River Cree Nation in Manitoba is conducting drug tests on people running for political office.

Not every candidate has agreed, however. Chief David Crate said he can't force them to take the drug tests.

But Crate supports the policy. He will make his test results public in advance of the August 16 election.

All band employees are already required to undergo drug tests.
