Indian center in Green Bay reduces services

The United Amerindian Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is cutting back on services and staffing due to a funding crunch.

The center depends on $2 million from the Indian Health Service. But the agency says the center has failed to meet certain requirements.

In hopes of addressing the issue, the center plans to reapply for the money in 30 days. In the meantime, the center is cutting back on hours, firing three employees and reducing a number of services.
