The House Natural Resources Committee is holding an oversight hearing this Wednesday on royalty collection issues at the Interior Department.
The witness list includes Kevin Gambrell, the former director of DOI's Farmington Indian Minerals Office who was ousted after raising questions about money owed to Navajo beneficiaries. David Lester, the executive director of the Council of Energy Resource Tribes, is also slated to testify.
The hearing is part of the committee's ongoing look at management issues at Interior.
