Menominee Nation weighs agreement for off-reservation casino
Wednesday, September 21, 2011
The Menominee Nation of Wisconsin is considering changes to its off-reservation casino agreement.
The tribe reached the agreement with the city of Kenosha and Kenosha County in 2005. It's been extended four times since then and now both sides are looking at a longer term arrangement.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs has agreed to review the casino again after the Bush administration rejected it in January 2009.
