The Bureau of Indian Affairs is hosting a public meeting tomorrow on an off-reservation casino for the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians in Wisconsin.
The tribe plans to build a casino in Shullsburg. The site is about 300 miles from tribal headquarters.
The BIA will be taking comments as it prepares a draft environmental impact statement for
the casino. The meeting takes place at 6pm at the Shullsburg High School.
