The Seneca Nation has opened a permanent off-reservation casino in Buffalo, New York, ahead of schedule.

The $130 million Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino welcomed its first visitors on Monday, Buffalo Business First reported. That's three weeks before the expected opening.

“There were a lot of moving parts, but they all came together in a way that was better than anyone of us expected,” Jim Wise, the senior vice president of Seneca Gaming Corporation, told Buffalo Business First.

The grand opening is scheduled for August 27.
